Each student holds different clue cards about a mystery; the group shares and deduces what happened.
Procedure
- Prepare clue cards (8-12) with different pieces of information about a crime or mystery.
- Distribute cards — each student gets 2-3 cards.
- Students read their clues aloud (no showing).
- Group discusses, combines information, and deduces: What happened? Who did it? Why?
- Groups present their solution; reveal the answer.
Tips
- Include some red herring clues to make it genuinely challenging.
- The no-showing rule forces oral communication and careful listening.
