Further Research and Report Back

After reading, students identify unanswered questions, research them, and report back.
Procedure
- After reading a text, groups identify 3-5 questions the text raises but doesn't answer.
- Divide questions among group members.
- Research (using phones, library, or provided sources).
- Report findings to the group.
- Group presents a synthesis to the class.
Tips
- The text becomes a springboard, not an endpoint.
- Students learn that texts are partial — they always leave things unsaid.
