Listen-and-Do

Students listen to instructions and carry out actions: drawing a route, labelling a diagram, arranging objects.

Procedure

1. Give students a blank map, diagram, or set of objects.
2. Read or play instructions at natural speed.
3. Students carry out the actions as they listen.
4. Repeat the instructions; students check and adjust.
5. Compare results with the original or a partner.
