Job Interview Panel

Groups act as a hiring panel: read CVs, interview candidates, and agree on one hire.

Procedure

  1. Give the panel a job description with specific requirements.
  2. Each panel member has different priorities (budget, team fit, experience).
  3. Panel reads 3-4 candidate CVs.
  4. Interview shortlisted candidates (other students in role).
  5. Panel discusses and must unanimously agree on one hire.

Tips

  • The unanimity requirement with different priorities creates genuine negotiation.
  • Give candidates slightly conflicting strengths to prevent obvious choices.
